大多數的人不會請你去開發什麼東西的,除非它是一個新的東西,他們更願意去買現有的,這就是為甚麼“產品”是商業的核心概念所在,即便是那些沒有實際外形的東西,我們還是必須把它們包裝成產品,然後銷售掉這些“概念”,然後消費的人才會覺得,他們擁有這個東西,然後這些東西對他們有價值。
如果你跳出開發者的立場考慮這個問題,其實很容易理解,誰會給你錢讓妳做什麼事情呢?除非他在運營自己的商業,誰會雇傭你呢?大多數的人都是顧客,而不是僱主,這個事實給我們一個很好的教訓,如果你想要獲得更多的機會在你的商業上,你應該面向所有的人,而不僅僅是僱主。
所以,不應該把自己老認為是開發者,而是產品製造商,你製造產品,然後你就可以銷售掉它,不論是大的還是小的產品,去開發一個新的產品,我們都知道是有風險的,我們知道我們需要投入時間和金錢,甚至於更多的時間和金錢來做它,所以在我們做之前,我們會陷入到自己對於將來會得到多少回報的幻象之中去,然後,或者是我們興奮的去做,或者是失望的放棄掉自己的目標,所有都因為所謂的前瞻,但是它可能什麼都不是!
總而言之,如果我們不是很累的話,空閒的時間還是能夠做一些東西的,但是不要求錢,它就好像“瀑布”一樣,你可能聽說過那個流行歌曲,唱的“不要隨波逐流”,嗯,有些時候它就是毒藥,可以肯定的是,它會很輕易的讓妳失望的。
Mostly people won't ask you to develop something unless it's new, would rather to buy something exists, that's why product is the core concept of business, even something are not tangible, we still have to wrap it to a product and sell its concept too, then the customer knows that he owned it and its valuable for their benefit.
If we stand on the opposite of developer ground, and thinking about it, we can understand it easily, who will pay you for doing something unless he is running some business, who will hire you to do? Most people just a employee, the fact give us a good lesson, if you want to have more opportunity on your business, you should target at all people, not only those employers.
So don't think about you are a developer always, but a product maker, you make the product, and you then can sell it, whatever it's big or small, to develop a new product, we know it could be risky, as we know that we will invest time, money and more time and money on it, so before we doing it, we just stuck in the vision of how much we will get paid? And then we will go excited to achieve it or get disappointed to abandon it, all because of the vision, but they could be nothing at all!
In conclusion, we could do something in our spare time if we are not tired of it, and don't go chasing money, it's like a "waterfall", you probably heard that pop song tell us "don't go chasing waterfall", well you see it's poison sometimes. Surely it will be easily letting you down.
